The National MS Society is a collective of passionate individuals who want to do something about MS nowto move together toward a world free of multiple sclerosis. MS stops people from moving. We exist to make sure it doesn't.
We help each person address the challenges of living with MS through our 50-state network of chapters. The Society helps people affected by MS by funding cutting-edge research, driving change through advocacy, facilitating professional education, and providing programs and services that help people with MS and their families move their lives forward.
We are moving research forward by relentlessly pursuing prevention, treatment and cure.
We are moving to reach out and respond to individuals, families and communities living with multiple sclerosis.
We are moving politicians and legislation to champion the needs of people with MS through activism, advocacy and influence.
We are moving to mobilize the millions of people who want to do something about MS now.

Mission Statement
Our Mission: To let God love us and love others through us.
Our Vision:
KnowLoveReach: Know God, Love one another, Reach the world one at a time!
Our goal is to be a church where people come to experience that knowing God is life's greatest Adventure, a church that loves others one at a time, and a church that reaches out to the world. These goals are all based on Scripture that God has given us through discussion and prayer:
Knowing God is life's greatest Adventure.
"This is eternal life, that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent." (John 17:3)
Love others one at a time.
"By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another." (John 13:35)
Reach the world.
"You will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." (Acts 1:8)
NESS L300 Foot Drop System and MS
We often hear from people with MS who are able to use the device that it is nothing short of life changing! They are enjoying an increase in mobility and social participation.
NESS L300 users like the fact that the device is lightweight and attractive, not heavy and cumbersome like an AFO. They also like the quick results they see and how easy it is to use.* The NESS L300's unique Gait Sensor means that a wearer may be able to walk on uneven surfaces and go up and down the stairs faster and with greater confidence.
The NESS L300 is designed to help correct foot drop by stimulating the nerves in the leg that lift the toes with a technology called Functional Electronic Stimulation or FES. While FES has been used therapeutically for years, the NESS L300 is one of the first devices to make it easy to apply and use in a home setting.

Check out this video of our own Dave Schmidt. This is worth seeing. The first demo on Dave was really good for him. I have seen Dave work with the Bioness L300 before. It is unbelievable, a miracle if you will. You will truly be amazed, I was. I watched him jog, go upstairs and down and the only thing holding him back was stamina. The best thing I think was his smile and giddy behavior. Just like a kid with a new toy, only better! It may not work for everyone, but it sure does for him. This clip is four and a half minutes and worth a look.
Ava Lemert: The Singing Saxstress
Ava Lemert is three artists in one woman — an expressive vocalist, passionate saxophonist & soulful songwriter. Ava has performed before thousands at televised NBA games, on Good Day Sacramento (#1 weekend news program in Sacramento), on Sacramento and Company (morning TV show) and in notable local venues such as Harlow's and The Torch Club. She's entertained at over 100 private events since she began performing as a solo artist. She also enjoys performing for the elderly and for elementary school children. Ava deftly fuses elements of classic soul, jazz, funk, blues, pop and Latin music with unique arrangements that feature both her vocals and saxophones. What results is a playful "dance" between Ava's singing voice and saxophones in her music. She is a versatile performer who's soulful voice requires no auto-tune tricks to dazzle. As a vocalist, instrumentalist and songwriter, Ava's tone and expressiveness leaves no doubt that she is a rare natural talent times three.
